NEW UL1449 ed4 Type 1 CA SPD!

The DS70US is a universal SPD for the most demanding AC Power applications. The DS70US Series protects any single or three phase voltage up to 690Vac from the effects of lightning and switching transients. These SPD are approved to the new UL1449 4th Edition (effective March. 2016) and have completed all SCCR, intermediate and low current testing without any upstream fuse or overcurrent protection.

The DS70US has the highest UL1449 In rating at 20kA 8/20us and a per module surge capacity of 75kA 8/20us. There is no product on the market with such versatility and capability as CITEL's latest SPD range. These SPD employ a replaceable module with real-time diagnostics via a visual fault indicator and remote contacts. The DS70US is backed by a 10-year no COA warranty. MLPC1-277L-V/50

The MLPC1-277L-V/50 is a economical, compact SPD for LED Drivers. The SPD protects any 120-277Vac single phase driver from the effects of lightning and switching transients. The unit is installed in series with the load and turns off the LED light fixture when maintenance is required. The MLPC incorporates a CITEL's "no leakage current" NLC technology which significantly increases the life expectancy of the unit while providing protection against temporary overvoltages.

The MLPC1-277L-V/50 has screw terminal connectors only on one side of the SPD to make replacing parallel SPD's very easy.

DS250VG

CITEL model DS250VG is a heavy duty AC Surge Protection Device (SPD) for high risk, low tolerance electrical service entrance applications. The DS250VG provides protection against the direct and indirect effects of lightning and is particularly useful in a high lightning area where the risk of heavy surge current or even direct strike is high, i.e. buildings equipped with lightning rods.

CITEL model DS240 surge protectors are used mainly for distribution panels of single-phase and three-phase networks. They provide common-mode protection (between the active conductors and ground) and are available with an option remote alarm.

The DS240 is built with a plug-in module and a fixed base, which allows for easy access to protection modules.
